Who else?

Okay. I'll admit it. Sometimes while sitting quietly by the fire I'll "people watch". It can be amusing and sometimes educational. I've seen people do dumb things, funny things, creative things, smart things and in some cases disgusting things at the sites around around me. I don't peek or invade privacy. I simply sit in my chair by the fire and let the show begin around me. Is that wrong?

Is it wrong? No way!

I do this constantly, camping or not. People watching is often the best entertainment! And when people get boring, there's usually a bird or squirrel or bug doing something interesting...

DW does think I'm weird though; I could sit around for hours just watching the world.

That's part of the fun of camping. We do it too.... sometimes we place bets on what's going to happen next. My wife usually wins.

People watching? Wrong? Not in the least. Actually, it's a good thing to do. Not only can it be entertaining, but maintaining situational awareness is important. Know your surroundings and whats going on, who's doing what.

Nothing wrong with that. I do it at home also. Have a bird paradise in my front yard. Sit out every morning when I am home, listening to the fountains and the water running while I drink my coffee and bird watch. Especially the hummers. I could watch them for hours. Not any people to watch where I live in the boonies so I just watch the animals. I have had a fox walk up to my front flower bed with a young pup, hawks sit on my grape vine posts and numerous others. Had a couple young deer walk through the front yard this past winter. Just lots of things to watch!

I would say in general no. At camp, I have never seen anything inappropriate. I often people watch, look at people's setup. Sometimes it is hilarious, and/or scary.

I always people watch and I know people watch me. So I give 'em something to look at by dropping something and sloooooowly bending over to get it. Then look through my legs and wave!
