My favorite is a Belgian beer - Leffe Blonde. After that, a German beer - Erdinger.

I've been looking all over for this one, it's a Scotch Ale and so dark it's almost black. At 8% its where I like to be in a beer, wish I could find this one on tap.

Bad news friends. I had to quit alcohol, including beer. I have a surgery coming up in the next year or so (hip replacement revision), and I really have to get my weight down by 100 pounds. That would put me at 185, which will help my next new hip joint last longer. I just can't stop at one or two beers, so I've decided to cut it out completely.
But don't feel sorry for me. I live in Washington state, and there are other legal options.

Don't have a pic, but DW is enjoying an Oatis Oatmeal Stout - with an ounce of Creme de Cassis. We first heard of this in England, where we had the Creme de Cassis with Guinness; they call it Guinness and Black, because C de C is Black Currant. It's good with any dark beer, which is all DW drinks.

Another one that's worth looking for. Four of us gave this a thumbs up.

Dogfish Head Palo Santo. Best beer - nice and dark, malty, chewy - I've had in ages. A little pricey, but worth it.

Just getting home from 4 days of work on the road. Going to crack into a cold Breckenridge 471 soon.
Cheers
