I have one Land Shark left, it's goes down tonight. The Irish is packed, the red wine is packed, the white wine is needed for tonight's meal so I guess it's Tequila time. God help the neighbors.

Went into our local Pilgrims Natural Foods store on Sunday and found some Goose Island Bourbon Barrel Stout. Been told it is the best. It isgood, but not the best, IMHO. I still say the best I have had is from our local Daft Badger Brewing. The Bourbon Barrel is very complimentary, not overwhelmingly like so many... BJ',s Brewery and Restaurant is still to me a strong number two. They did seem to change their recipe a couple of years ago and the Bourbon tended to overwhelm...
My two cents worth...

Though I would update my previous post..... And add a new selection from Caldera Brewing
Sunday we did a bit of grocery shopping. Thought we would try Pilgrim Natural Foods. Pretty good selection of Micros/Craft...
Finally found some Goose Island Bourbon Barrel Stout so I splurged. Almost $11.00 per bottle, 22oz....
Well, not too bad but a bit heavy on the Bourbon end. So that one can be checked off my list.
Still the best imho is our local Daft Badger Brewing. The Stout and the Bourbon compliment one another. Patti also found her fav, Caldera Brewing Toasted Coconut... Really tasty!!!

I just finished off a Dogfish Head Namaste wheat beer and a local'ish Astronaut Brown from Rocket Republic Brewing in Madison, AL.
We're at the beach at the moment though and it's too hot for another decent beer so she's making a run for a light one.

Ready to drink the Troegs Perpetual IPA now.
The Moss Mill is for the Fireworks on the 4th. It's Moss Mill's Indecent Proposal IPA, a local Nano Brewery.
They said I could only bring in one Can

I'm drinking a Miller 64. Perfectly balanced 64 calorie light beer. At least that's what it says on the can. It actually has some beer taste to it. Gotta get up early tomorrow.
