Tuesday we encountered severe crosswinds on I-25 north of Trinidad, CO. While I don't know the velocity, we passed two fivers and a large MH that had pulled off to the side within just a few miles. It was severe enough to cause my front steps to open twice. Had to crawl underneath to find something to tie them to. No semis passed us for quite a while and we were down to 45 & 50. I don't think there is a one size fits all answer. It depends on the camper/MH, the TV, the road conditions, driver experience and probably many other factors. If you don't feel you should be on the road, get off of it.
