1-2-3 Cake. I love this idea!!!

Genius! ----- 1-2-3 Cake. I love this idea!!!

You need two boxes of cake mix. One can be any flavor you prefer, but the other MUST be Angel Food cake mix. Mix them together (shake them in a big bowl or bag).

Then simply store the mixture in an airtight container until you get the urge for dessert.

Then just put three Tbsp. of the dry mixture in a big coffee mug and stir in 2 Tbsp of water. Microwave it for one minute and you will have a single serving of cake!

Top with fruit, ice cream, whipped cream or whatever! Awesome for those of us who want something sweet every now and then without making an entire cake (because we'll eat the whole cake)! LOL

Enjoy!

This works great. We have made it several times as we travel. A real delicious treat!

I do the same sort of thing with cookie dough. I freeze cookie dough and when I want a cookie or two I microwave the dough. Hot cookies when wanted. 1 large cookie is microwaved for about 1 minute. If it still looks "wet" all over it needs more time. If there are only a few "wet" spots it is done.

DW and I tried the 1-2-3 cake and it works, it really works. So far we have tried peaches, strawberries and wipe cream as toppings. The only change we made was milk inplace of the water.

I bought a box of chocolate and a box of angel food along with a tub of icing and had them in the camper all season. I never made this.

I just got a sweet craving so I mixed the two bags in a bowl and cooked a mug if the mix. I then put a half tablespoon of chocolate frosting on top and it melted a bit.

Omg! It was awesome, especially with the warm, gooey icing!
