Then I would do what Jayco says.

I’m guessing my setup is less stressful than a bike rack with a 30”+ riser and 4 bikes.

I’m willing to try it. But have not recommended it!

Can anyone explain how the Weber Q grill attaches to this mount?

Is it totally secure to travel with the grill attached?

In Post #17 of this thread there is a review video posted, it shows in detail how the Weber Q is attached.

I've read that as well. However the spare tire weights a bunch and that's hanging off the bumper. Jayco doesn't want to be responsible for anything else hanging off. I know a bike rack is a real no no.

Recently completed a trip from Pine Mountain, GA to St Augustine, FL. Little over 700 miles round trip. The mount held up beautiful. As well as the grill!

I know there was some moving and shaking as my receiver mounted hitch haul was bent after 100 miles.

Very pleased!

Thanks again for the video. I'm going through w/ a purchase of the BumperQ. Hey I also noticed we're neighbors - I'm next door in Jackson. Whitehorse is a good dealer in my experience.

I just installed mine. Very pleased with the quality and I’m looking forward to many seasons of use. Bill shipped it out super quick too.

Got mine!

Love it.

One alteration. I used nylon locknut's for the mount.

I did stainless washers and stainless nylon nuts like another poster earlier on did. I figured it was good insurance.

How do you secure the lid for travel? Is there a latch? Bungee cords?
