Looks great Plow! How's was the fishing up there? We go up there often throughout the year but most heavily in the fall. I haven't bought my griddle yet but plans to soon.

You cant hardly beat the fishing on hamlin lake IMO. We always have enough fish for a fish fry on Saturday evening. For the past several years we have been doing our fishing trip there, but next year we are going to Cadillac. We try to get to Ludington a couple times year as a family, so hopefully we can make it this fall all together. After school starts, its a bit easier to get in.
When you go to purchase your griddle, Griddle Guru - Backyard cooking redefined. Selling Blackstone griddles, and Patio Pizza Oven is the best price I could find on them recently. Includes free shipping.

Whats better than one Blackstone Griddle to feed 25+ guys??? 2. We bought another and donated it to a buddy of mines church. The church allows members to use it for personal use. So the fishing trip now has 2 griddles. Looking to buy the "grill box" for it this season. I cant say enough how much I love this "tool"

Back from the dead....

Instead of starting a new topic I figured I would bring this one back from the dead. My wife bought me one of the Blackstone 36" griddles for Christmas and we started using it at home and love it. I didn't want to haul this monster around with the camper for the 2 of us, so we purchased the tabletop 17" version that runs on the 1 lb. bottles. It works really well also! I'm hoping to mod the regulator input on the griddle to work off of my existing low pressure gas plumbing on my rig. It's going to be a great addition to the cooking arsenal.

Hey Everyone:

Blackstone makes a 17" griddle same quality, less weight. Wife got us one for Christmas, excellent product, fits on the grill table.
Have fun cooking

Blackstone Griddle

As an alternative, one could look into camp chef. That's what we have. We love it because we can use the griddle, a grill box, and best of all a pizza oven. It is very versatile but all of the accessories do take up a lot of storage space and they are heavy.

I bought the 22". I believe it is only available at the HSN. 22" 22,000 BTU with 2 burners. Came with a cover and an adaptor for a 20lbs tank. I think it weighs 35lbs. It's all we have taken camping so far. Simple to transport and set up. Cooks amazing. We cook with it at home probably 4nights a week. I also have a 36" that rarely gets used. The 22" has a back drip box to catch the grease where the 17" has the catch to the front. I
So far I can't find anything about my 22" that I don't like.

17" Blackstone griddle

I bought a 17"blackstone griddle last week after a friend used one at an event we were at. I got the new griddle home and seasoned it. Last night we used it for the first time and I was impressed. We cooked Homefries, Bacon, Onions and Cheeseburgers. I also used an adapter I had to hook straight to a full size propane tank.

I've had a 17 for two years. Crustified burgers, bacon, taters, set a pot on it and cook.
Best Burger you will ever eat. Period. Ribeye, hotdog, fish fillet, chicken breast, pancakes, sausage, sear for the crockpot.

I bought one for my nefew who's a CIA chef. He loves it.

We purchased the 22" model from Walmart, it included the stand and flip cover all for $147. What an amazing piece of cookware, we have been using it for a month now and love it more and more.

Here's our favorite meal, shrimp pan fajitas. We use the raw tortillas, once you use them you won't eat the precooked ones again. Yummy!

I have the blackstone tailgater and love it’s versatility. It’s half grill, half griddle, and the grill box can be removed to have a 20K btu burner. We love ours so much we bought a second one for the house.

Rural King has them on sale for $159 right now. https://www.ruralking.com/tailgator-...SABEgJf0vD_BwE

Here’s mine a few weeks back using the griddle as a table while I fried some fish we caught while in destin at Henderson beach state park.

We have a two burner Camp Chef, and use it all the time. Much nicer to cook outdoors, especially steaks, bacon, and what have you. Keeps the rig cleaner as well. Best accessory we purchased for our Eagle.

Yes I have mine hooked up to my jayco 321 propane accessory line and it works great. Just make sure you aren't running the propane through a 2nd pressure regulator.

The propane at the quick disconnect is already regulated. I believe your griddle has a regulator on it, that's why it doesn't work, it's double regulated at that point. You'll need to buy a length of gas hose and put a quick connect on the one end, and that'll eliminate the regulator on the griddle.
