Camp Chef stoves

We prefer to cook outside when we camp and are considering getting a camp chef stove. We were going to get a pro90 three burner stove with grill box and griddle accesories. after adding up the weights of these thing we found it would be too heavy and bulky. The total weight of all the products is about 150 lbs. What we are looking at now is the All-terrain sport stove from Camp Chef. Has anybody used this thing or is am I better off with my old Coleman propane stove which is in good shape yet. There similar and lighter boxes and griddles available for it. here is a pic and link to it.

I have the Big gas grill from camp chef. I find it to be perfect for camping. You can throw the BBQ top on and cover 2 of the 3 burners and still have another burner for sides. You can also buy a griddle that also covers 2 of the burners, works great for breakfast! I am very happy with the product and have the bags for them. I have a Jayco 314BDS and it stores easily in the rear storage compartment. Good Luck

I also use the Camp Chef 3 burner stove with the grill box. It works better than any grill I have ever owned. We actually bought it to use at home, but take it camping too.

My scout troop also uses the Camp Chef stoves and they are very durable.

I am now leaning back to the Big gas grill 3 model, three burners and a grill box. The two burner on in my last post isn't much bigger than the Coleman I already have. I end up being the camp cook when we go camping so I wanted a nice big griddle to make breakfast on.

Derek, you won't be disappointed with the BGG-3. I bought one after camping with a buddy that had one. I bought the two burner griddle, and you can cook as large a breakfast as you want. I think you're on the right track with the larger stove, rather than the first one you posted. I know they list the combo as close to 150 pounds on the web, but I don't think its nearly that heavy. I can easily carry the stove with bbq box attached, and the griddle is less than 30 pounds.

I think I was right around $350 US with free shipping from a major online retailer for the stove, griddle and carry bags.
