Cast Iron goodness!

Campingwith the Boy Scouts this weekend. Lean tos, snow, sleet, and Dutch Ovens! Planning on having them try their hand at Chicken Pot Pie and cobbler tomorrow night. Expect to see pictures of their efforts Saturday night. In the mean time, time to curl up in the sleeping bag, because it is a bit chilly out there!!!

Great weekend! The temps were cold, in the mid 20's, but the scouts did well!

Dinner was Dutch Oven Chicken Pot Pie. As always, there were no leftovers! For Dessert, Two Cobblers, Apple Peach with Yellow Cake and Apple Spice Cake. The Apple Spice Cake Cobbler was excellent! I tried to get a picture, but the Scouts beat me to it! Here is the best I could get...

All in all, all the food is eaten, it must have been good!
