Cowboy Cooking

On CBS Sunday Morning - a great piece on Cowboy Cooking about Kent and Shannon Rollins; and they have a cookbook titled A Taste of Cowboy: Ranch Recipes and Tales from the Trail. Bet it would be great for RV-ing, especially in the Kindle version! Don't know, maybe it has some Dutch-Oven recipes ~ he and his wife run the Red River Ranch Dutch Oven Cooking Camp.

As far as the book goes it is very dangerous!!!!! I pick at least 3 recipes from it everytime we go out! I especially love the sparkling potatoes if you have leftovers we eat them for breakfast! I highly reccomend his book!

This weekend we tried the SPARKLIN' TATERS and they were fantastic! For those of you who have never tried your oven, not only is this good for Dutch Ovens, but at 350 for 30 minutes it is a PERFECT recipe to for your RV oven.

Great book! I have tried several recipes of his, they are all good. All can be done in a dutch oven.
