Foil

I just saw a post cooking with aluminum foil. This looks good and easy. How do you know when it is done?

What? I think you might have to give us a little more to go on than that. Cooking what? How is the aluminum foil used? Wrapped, a sheet on the bar bee? Sorry but that is pretty vague to work with.

Foil packs are a long time favorite. Basically you can open them and test for doneness and reseal and put them back on the fire.

Many campers start with ground beef and eventually get to chicken, shrimp, and a host of other meats. You will eventually have a good idea about how much time they will take. The main issue is making certain they do not leak. Food will burn if there is a path for the fire.

Thanks. I didn’t know about the foil bags. Next time we go for grocery run I will pick sum up. There is so much to learn about cooking on a grill. I like the charcoal best for flavor.
