Since this excellent article was written, a company named Torjik has released a complete kit for hooking up a Coleman Road Trip grill directly to the LP gas quick connect that's on many of our trailers. It's called the Converta-C. They also sell a kit for hooking up Weber grills; amazingly that's called Converta-W. Here's the link to Torjik's site: http://torjik.com/#_convertac
This is now being sold by quite a few other sources, too. Good luck!

I know this is an old post but did you ever figure this out? I ended up cutting 3/8" off the male adapter (nipple end) and grinding/polishing it. Fits perfectly now... hope this helps someone!

Thanks, does anyone know if the info that Bob Landry posted back in 2013 is still current? Scroll all the way down to the first post in this thread.
We have had an awful time trying to hook our Coleman stove up to the propane on our tt.
You would think they would make it easier than this!

I think he makes it clear in that post that it if for Weber grills. The post before yours, #24 addressed the Coleman Road trip.
To be honest, I modified my Weber but hardly ever use the onboard low pressure fitting although it is there if I need it. I just carry a 5 lb lp tank with a regulator on it.

Ok so im wanting to ask if my blackstone griddle would work with this qd under the rv? My wife tried tonight and could not get it to work, maybe i need low pressure end on the bbq and the hose that goes into the qd?
I know this write up is only for a couple specific bbq's but i had to ask because im at a loss

this guy works for my 17" blackstone to the quick connect on the RV. I would get a little longer hose if I purchased again though.
Nothing else needed. RV QC to blackstone brass port.

Quick Connect - Blackstone 28-inch
I am the proud new owner of a Blackstone 28-inch grill.
As the OP noted, it comes with the built-in regulator.
Blackstone sells a hose that can be connected to the quick-connect, but only for the smaller models (17" and 22"), as noted in earlier posts.
My question:
What do I need to buy and do to connect the grill to the quick-connect?
My gut tells me that it would involve removing the existing hose w/built-in regulator and then ...
replace it with a longer hose without the regulator and with the quick-connect on one end and with some sort of standard connection on the other. But I'm terrified of not heeding the wisdom of this group.
