Cutting the end grain with a chain saw is tough on you and the saw. You should use a special ripping chain that is designed for that type of cutting. Bailey's has them, they are used on chain saw-type sawmills.

But then again, rednecks will try anything. Famous last words of a redneck, "Hey guys, watch this!!"

When I was a kid, we made homemade grills using a coffee can and chicken wire for the grate and "grilled" a burger on it. Oh the things we remember. Great times!
