Knorr Knows Best:
1) Add together:
- 1 package of a Knorr Entrée mix: "Sauerbraten" or "Goulash" are my favorite (available on Amazon)
- 1/2 to 1 cup liquid (flat beer, old wine, leftover coffee, etc.)
- 1 hunk of meat (pork, beef, chicken, etc.)
- 1 diced onion
- Mushrooms (any amount or type, fresh or canned, whole or sliced)
2) During cooking 'when the time is right', add carrots, turnips, potatoes, or any other vegetable you wish
3) Cook for the recommended (high, medium, or low) time for your appliance
4) Make a gravy out of the remaining sauce
5) Serve over noodles or rice or quinoa with a tossed salad on the side

Not thread stealing..but DW and I purchased a Beeville fast slow cooker and love it! Pressure cooker option pork ribs on bone bottle of favorite sauce and 45 minutes later moist and perfect!

Happy you DID hijack - anything around this topic works! The RV crock-pot is smaller (for storage) but my go-to crock-pot at home has a metal insert so it can be used to sear then cook; Breville makes one too.

Mix up your favorite meat loaf , put it in your crock pot and then slice 2 or 3 sweet onions on top. Now mix up a can of golden mushroom soup and pour over all. Turn on the crock pot and get ready for the BEST meat loaf ever, at least in my opinion.

We have a Greyhawk so no outside kitchen but you can still crock pot outside as long as you can fend off the woodland animals! One pot cooking I'd great for camping

3 ingredient crock pot recipe.

I found about this from a friend. After telling my wife about it, she said it couldn't be good she finally agreed I could give it a try. We now have it at least once a week.

3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 oz. On The Border salsa (don't substitute on this)
1 pkg dry taco seasoning..we use old el paso mild

Put the chicken in the crock pot cover with the taco seasoning and then pour the salsa over it. Cook on low for 4 hours.

When finished, put chicken on a flour tortilla and garnish with grated cheddar cheese.

Really easy for those of us who are challenged in the kitchen!!
