Smile 2015 Jayco Octane 222

This is our 3rd Jayco trailer and our first one to have so many issues. We are fortunate that am fairly handy so I can take care of most of our problems. It would be very discouraging for someone to have to pay to have these problems repaired at the dealer. Here is a list of issues I've had to repair. TIRES! Blowouts. Replaced them with Goodyear Endurance. Fridge blows fusible link in vent stack if fridge is left running while traveling. Have to make sure it is off before hitting the road. Never had that issue with any other trailer we've owned. Furnace cycles on high limit because not enough heat outlets and temperature rise is excessive. As a result the hight limit switch wore out and I had to replace it. Whole furnace had to be taken out. What a pain. I added an extra outlet but it isn't enough and I'm going to have to add another. I use this Toy Hauler to hunt and fish. Great for bringing my quad. We love it even with a few wrinkles.

Sorry to hear of your problems. My 2016 model has been flawless up to this point.

About the furnace, I notice that it sure does blow some hot air out. It will warm the unit nice and fast, which I like. I make darn sure I'm not blocking one of the vents somewhere, we keep a waste basket in front of the one by the couch. It needs to be moved.

Just out of curiosity, where are you adding outlets?

Well, I hope you have it all sorted out and have nothing but good luck down the road. They are handy units, especially for hauling quads or motorcycles. I sure enjoy mine.
