2016 222 front mattress

Is there a better replacement mattress that fits in place of the curved front mattress on the 222 front bedroom. The factory one is very thin!

Buy yourself a 3" thick memory foam mattress topper...Thats what we did with our last 5er and transferred it to our new one...Our's is a King size and we had to cut some off length wise...Cost a whole lot less than a new mattress and it's GREAT to sleep on.. Have had it 2 yrs. Got it at a Sams Club for about $125.00..Best bed upgrade we've ever done. Queen would be cheaper.

The foam mattress toppers can be trimmed to fit. If not with shears, a hot-knife tool works. Just check with a store associate first. That mattress looks specific to the 222 and 260 models, probably to accommodate the bathroom door. Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

Easily trimmed with shears...Just draw a line in the contour you want and cut it...Works great

I was just looking at them on Amazon they are pretty reasonable do you think one of the larger ones 4 or 6" would be too much? Thanks

Your call as to how high it will make your bed...4" is nice,..if the 6" isn't too high, go with it...Just have to do the measurements and see if it'll work for you.

I just ordered the 6" the bed is pretty low. I'll get it Monday and put it in. Thanks for all your help this is really our only complaint about the 222. This looks like it should make a good nights sleep for us!

Will do. I'm trying to get some things done to make it more "ours" before we take it to Tennessee for two weeks.

Where in TN? We spend a couple weekends in March in Sevierville.

mattress

We purchased a spring mattress from IKEA the Haugesund full fits well and allows for the bathroom door to still open. I got full firm but should have gotten medium firm. There was another foam mattress MORGEDAL that could have also fit. Either way, I agree that 'mattress' that came with it needed replaced.

I bought a memory foam mattress for the bottom and trimmed it and two down comforters all from walmart and does make a difference. Sits a little high by about 4 inches but I'm a lot more comfortable now. I spent about $175 for all 3.

After one nite on the stock mattress, we had a custom latex mattress made, just under $500. It is worth every penny. Very comfortable. The toppers are OK, but then you have to mess with it changing sheets, etc.
