355w towing

Anyone pulling a 355w with a Ram 2500 diesel. I have a XLR hyperlite and am looking to upgrade to a 5er. Had intentions to buy the keystone carbon until I found this unit and went and looked at one. It has a dry weight of 14,700 which is up there and looking for someone with real tow experience.

Welcome to the forum.

The specs I see (2017 Seismic 355W) show 17,500 lbs Gross Weight, so ~4,3500 pin weight, What's your payload capacity for your truck? Lots of folks here with lots of towing experience so I bet you'll hear a lot more very soon.

Here are some numbers that might help.
I have a 2016 355W, and have every option available at the time I purchased it.

Empty weight:
Trailer axels: 11700 lbs
Pin weight: 3150 lbs

So a total weight of 14850. But this includes regular trailer stock items like dishes, household goods, clothing, propane, etc. No water or waste in the tanks.

Completely loaded with a RZR XPT in the garage but no potable water or waste water:

Trailer axels: 13900 lbs
Pin weight: 2750 lbs

So a total weight of 16650 lbs fully loaded without water.

As you can see, having the RZR in the garage lightened the pin weight by 400 lbs.

As I said, I have every option on this thing, 3 AC's, Tailgator Kitchen, Party deck with 3 season doors, Double pane windows, large fridge, etc. All of these add weight, which accumulates fast!
