413t 21' awning

Sun is shinning but still a cold day. Light wind, so I thought I would run awning out and start figuring out our outdoor camping. Must say, I'm a little disappointed in the way this awning moves around in such a light wind. Maybe gust to 10mph. Here in OK that's nothing. Guess I'll have to tie the damn thing down every use. Which is every day in our summers.....

That's alot of awning. The bigger the sail the more wind it'll catch. Tie downs will help.

Time will tell that's for sure. But u would think at some point they would shy away from an awning too big to use.

Another option can be to not to open it all the way. Many days we've left our awning just partially open to reduce the 'sail' area.

One thing to remember if you are going away even for a short time, Close the awning.
No wind when you leave, awning ripped off when you return.

It part of the RV life that you learn the hard way.
