5th wheel hitch

What 5th wheel hitch is the best to buy? We are picking up our 2018 4212 later this month and the dealer sells Reese. I’ve been told that champion is one of the best. Thank for any opinion

Not sure I’ve ever heard of champion hitches. Maybe a B&W companion hitch, which is a very good hitch. For a big toy hauler like that, I’d look at the B&W.
Nothing wrong with a Reese either as long as it is rated for the weight of the pin weight of the rig as well as the GVW of the trailer.

I kinda feel asking for the best hitch is a little like asking for the best truck. You’re going to get a lot of opinions as to which is the best.

I personally have a Curt Q25 and it has done just fine for the past year and a half.

I have the Q20 by Curt on a slide and use it to haul a 15000 pound trailer with no issues.

It is the B&W Champion hitch. The Reese that they sell is rated for this model. Was just wondering what others were using. Thanks for the info

I think you mean “companion”

B&W makes the “patriot” or the “companion”, both of which have excellent reviews. Many folks believe B&W to be the best hitch and lots of members are using them.

I have a 10yr old Curt Q20. It's been a great hitch but I want a new B&W. Not sure why. I just want one.
