Welcome to the forum Vernon!

I am guessing you are referring to the beds that you can raise up out of the way in the storage garage of the toy hauler. The toy haulers that I have looked at have already had them installed. I would image it would be quite an endeavor to retrofit but we have a few toy hauler folks here that will hopefully be able to answer.

Again - welcome!

aha! Never heard of them but I have dealt with Happijac on slide out issues. They are very helpful in the Customer service dept and their products that I do have experience with have been excellent.

I'm looking into replacing the single Drop-Down Queen Bed with a Dual Electric Queen Bed. I found this site that sells them for $800. I did come across a site that sold one for $600, but lost the web page. There's a Insurance Salvage yard a few miles from home with lots of RVs in stock. I'll try to check there inventory for these beds.

I looked at this link and just want to point out that it includes the lift hardware only. It does NOT include the mounting hardware, the bed platform itself or the mattress!

I'm will not need the bed platform. I'll only be using one bed, in the lowered position. Where the bed mounts for the upper position, I'll be using as storage. I'll make my own platform for this. I'm basically wanting this set-up because the manual drop-down bed is too high in the lowered position. I'm too old to be climbing up & down the supplied ladder.
