Atwood Product issues

Not sure if I should post here or in travel trailers because mine is both... Jacyo Octane 32H. Not that it should matter because Atwoods products are the ones giving me issues.

1st... My electric /propane Atwood (GC6AA 10E) water heater stopped working on propane after about a month. I didn't want to bring the rv 2.5 hours each way for this. I think it is the circut board. I tried replacing the ignitor. The gas runs through it but no spark. I checked the fuses, etc. I have tried calling them but haven't had luck getting through. Different time zones and horrible business hours. I emailed them and got no response.

2nd.. Now my Atwood heater (Afmd 35121) has stopped igniting. The funny thing is that my wife switched the propane to tank #2 and it worked. I went to fill tank #1 and it was almost full. I checked and my stove works. I started moving takes from one side to the other on the regulator and now the heater doesn't come on at all. We have an electric space heater thank God but this isnt good at all times.

Could this all be a propane or regulator issue? I noticed just now when crawling underneath the rv that one main line going to a 4 way pass through was way too bent in my opinion. I have seen TONS of shoddy work done when they built this pile (multipul water leaks repaired) but I was hoping that they would, at least, build the propane system correctly seeing how it could kill people. Should I blow out the propane lines first with compressed air? Maybe re-route the main line I saw bent too far and buy a new propane regulator?
Is there anything I can check on the heater itself? Would the water heater propane side not work if the propane pressure wasn't high enough?
Trying to avoid a trip to the dealership and a hotel bill. At the moment I am a full timer.

Many people have had issues with their atwood me included - for me it was the control board - I ordered a dinosaur replacement from amazon - if you do a search on the forum I had posted the link in the summer of the item I purchased

I keep reading of reset buttons on the furnaces. Never had that problem. I also have encountered and read of tanks shutting down because the valves are opened to fast. Also the two stage regulators can and do fail prematurely. I would verify that some gas appliance are working first to elimination the supply problem. Start over with the troubleshooting because it's easy to get off on a tangent.
Keep us posted.

Move the junction box first where all your propane lines feed from. We had the same issue on our fifth wheel. Line was kinked and fuel could not flow freely. Just a simple move of a couple inches may fix your problem and at no cost to you.

The dealership said there was a bad batch of boards that came in from china, it happened to a youtube couple who just got a new airstream as well.

It sounded like you did the basic troubleshooting - ie do other propane appliances work fine, do you have enough 12 volt power either from your converter or batteries

Is the thermal fuse still good that is near where the heat escapes out near the wiring?

It does sound like something else maybe going on if other appliances are not working.

Talking Water Heater

Had a problem with my water heater. Black, sooty smoke and bright orange flame. After checking the mix chamber for spider webs, I found the regulator valves were magnetic. Removed the regulator and got two earth magnets and worked the valves from the outside and whala!! Working! Almost ordera new valve, but I had time to dink around with it and found the problem. Reason for sticking..storage and non use?
