Awning switches not working

I have a 2017 Seismic 4113 with two side awnings. Neither awning works when I depress their respective switches on the control panel. If I use the remote they both work flawlessly. When I do depress the switch I can hear what I presume to be a relay clicking at the awning motor but no movement. Any help trouble shooting will be greatly appreciated.



Also previous to this, the last few times we used the awnings, when we initially depressed the button to extend, nothing would happen until we depressed the button to retract then depress again to extend. We would have to do just the opposite upon trying to retract ( hit retract nothing, extend then retract again).

The switches might just activate the awnings and to control you have to use the remote.

If the switches when operating the awnings do not have a visible view on the awning, that would be a logic way how it works.

These switches worked previously. In fact we used them almost exclusively. When they didn't work this time it occurred to me to try the remote.
