Considering a T26y - Need Feedback

I am currently looking at a 2017 T267 toy hauler to replace my 29" flagstaff bunk house. Our needs have changed and its mostly just my wife and I. We have several toys; Harley, Bicycles, Side by Side that would be fun to use more as we travel. I pull the current trailer with a Ford f150 ecoboost.

The thought of downsizing to a smaller trailer is appealing for ease of use and better fit for the truck. Does anyone have any feedback on things they like about the 26y? I do have concerns about the lack of outside storage and the split shower and sink arrangement of the bathroom. If you own a 26y would you buy it again? Thanks again for all your advice and feedback.

We have an older T26Y (bought lightly used) and it is our first toy hauler (had it 2 yrs now). We stepped up from a 19' expandable and are very happy so far. We tow with a 1500 Mega Cab Dodge with a 5.7 hemi and it does Ok on flatland but wind and hills kill it. The truck is basically a 3/4 ton with lighter rear springs, no problem with weight just not enough motor. I find the 5.7 hemi a terrible heavy truck motor, HP and torque are way to high in the RPM range to be useful for towing unlike the ecoboost grunt. Loaded with toys, gear , water, and fuel It's knocking on the door of 10,000#.
The split washroom is kind of nice if someone is having a shower or?????, the sink is still available for other users to get other stuff done (my house of 3 women, I need 3 sinks). The one thing I would change if possible is the sideways master queen. The front bedroom has limited space and it is inevitable that someone ends up crawling across their spouse to get to their side of the bed.
I have the on board Onan so I'm not sure if that space becomes exterior access or a door to the under bed storage. I just picked up a set of under frame mounted drawers (see link) to help with the lack of exterior storage, seems to be plenty inside.
I like the layout and interior roominess and it suits our family of 4 really well, I needed the open type garage to fit the 4 ATV's and I would absolutely buy again.

Ross.

Can anyone tell me if the generator compartment will fit a pair of Honda 2000 generators? I don't want to operate them in the compartment just for storage. Thanks
