Considering a used 06 Octane 24z

I am in the market for a Toy Hauler, I have a 2006 Jayco Octane t24z in mind. Looking for information on this trailer. Dealer wants about 14k. Seems like a good unit. Any have a similar TH? TIA,

Other than towing those trailers for Jayco to deliver them to dealers, I have no experience with them. Sorry.

I don't know anything about that one but I just bought a new jayco octane 222 and it was less expensive than you might think. I would try to talk them down more.

Thank you. I just found a 07 Octane 26' for about 12,5. Which seem like it'll suit us better. It's a private sale though. I wish I could go new, but at this time a used is all we need.

Well scratch that, the 07 is sold. Guess I'm back to trying to get the dealer to lower price on the 06, but I don't think he will.

If you are ready to walk away he will deal. And if not you will find a better deal somewhere else.

After looking at campers and then trucks with a friend of mine who could be a mule trader, I learned a lot. Walk in with info on several other trailers you are comparing this one to. Do your research. Don't seem overly attached and be ready to walk away if you don't get the deal you think you should get. I have learned everything is negotiable and if not there is always another dealer down the road.

I hope you find what you are looking for, for the price you want.

I just bought a new 2015 Octane 273 sl with power tongue jack and awning, fuel station and stereo upgrade for $22,200. You can use that for a reference.
