Dumb Question from a Class C owner

Howdy form Texas!
My wife and I have always wondered about Toy haulers and have had a persistent question come up over and over again:

If you are hauling something like an ATV inside your toy hauler, doesn't the sleeping are and such ever smell like gas and oil form the Toy you are hauling?

I know that it sounds like a dumb question, but we have been wondering that for a long time...

Mines an open floor plan and I don't get any smell off my machines. I also am a bit OCD when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance on them. If they are dirty I carry a small power washer to clean them. Turn off the fuel before loading and the bit of running it does when loading drains down the float bowl so no fuel to spill. We have actually camped with the machines in there before.

Same experience here. When we had a toy hauler, I never let gasoline leak onto the floor, opting instead to place liquid-proof mats underneath just in case. I did have a bit of fork oil leak from one of the dirt bikes at one time, but no lasting problem. We also slept in the beds while the Rhino and dirt bikes were in there several times while on a long trip with a stopover. A bit crowded, but no ill effect.

Modern, fuel injected street bike. Zero issues here.
