Exterior lights 2 switch

I'm new to this forum, also new to Jayco. So a couple weeks ago we traded in our Heartland. We picked up a brand new but left over 2017 jayco seismic wave 400w. In the main switch panel there is an exterior light switch, and an exterior light 2 switch. Exterior light 2 does not turn anything on. I open the panel and tested the switch it works and is sending power somewhere. Can anyone tell me which lights this switch should turn on? It would give me a starting point for electrical testing.
Thanks for any help.

Awning lights are on the exterior light switch.
A bit more explanation
Switch labeled "exterior lights"- turns on awning led lights, and marker light in each set of stairs.

Switch labeled "exterior lights 2" , has at least two hot legs that split off inside the panel, one heading up into the ceiling, one headed downward. No lights turn on with this switch.

My first thought is a bad ground, but where?

I'm not familiar with your RV, but the last couple we've had, have a security light on the driver side of the unit that has its own switch .... perhaps that's your solution.

Thanks, but security lights are on their own switches. Ds flood and ods flood. They work.

My thought is that I think this switch should power up some, possibly all of the running lights. But I'm not sure if that's right.

Nope, that's not it. That light is the ODS switch. This exterior lights 2 turns on nothing. If I hadn't tested it, I would think it wasn't hooked up. But it is wired and sends power out.
I really would like to find someone with a 400w to tell me what it turns on in their unit. I'll figure it out eventually, but that would speed up the process.

Light for the steps? Some units have what looks like a yellow running light in the step well. Mine is on the same switch as the awning lights, but I'm planning on separating them at some point. Maybe they are separated on your unit?

The step marker lights are on the same as the awning lights. Same as yours.

Abowman,
Have you tried contacting Jayco help desk? They are no good when asking "what if's" on mods or upgrades, but have good records (most of the time) on what was put on each unit they build. I had questions with the pwr wiring to the rear camera when I was going to hook it up. Gave them my unit serial number & they have since sent me full wiring diagrams, wall & floor build plans, etc.

My "Exterior 2" light switch controls my rear awning led strip. Switch is different from the rest in that you have to press and hold switch. When you let go, it springs back. Hope this helps.

I may try the help desk. I haven't had time to mess with it today.

This switch when testing with my meter, operates just like the others. My rear awning lights run off their own switch in the garage.

I'm stumped. Even if it is for an option I don't have, why would they make it send power to a dead end?
