Generator for 50 amp 2018 Octane SL 272

Hello all -
Quick question about generators. We have a new Octane SL 272 with the 50 amp plug. The vast majority of our camping will be dry camping (working dogs, riding horses, playing on the side-by-side, etc) and I'm looking for the right generator. My question is, if I go with a 30 amp 7,500 watt generator, will it have enough juice to run everything in our camper? I know I probably won't be able to run both A/C units at one time, but will it run one A/C unit and other appliances like the hot water heater, TV, etc? Or should I just jump up to a 50 amp generator? If so, any recommendations? This is the 30 amp unit I'm looking at - (it would also serve as back up for the house)

You will get lots of talk about brand and wattage but the thing that everyone seems to agree upon is that for an RV you should look at an inverter generator. Will protect your appliances from surges much better and is much quieter.

hate to tell you this but you will be limited to 30amps on the generator you have selected. Your TH is 110volt regardless of the plug type you intend to use, 20a, 30a or 50a. Your generator selection only have two (2) types of connections. 20a 120v or 30a 240v. You can wire a three wire connection to the L14 twist lock on your genset and get 30a 120v rather than 240v but be aware, most genset mfg discourage loading the genset with 120v only loads over 50% due to imbalance in the armature. Load to 28amps is within that limit.

I decided to go that route for now, as the generator will also serve backup duty for my horse barn and well. My question is, can I use (1) a regular 50 amp to 30 amp (4 prong, L14-30) adapter without any issues or risk to my TH's 120 volt system, or do I need to get (2) the adapter that goes from 4 prong to the 3 wire connector (L14-30 to TT30 amp)?
