Hating thieves

Well i fell victim. My octane was broken in and the stole everything inside. Stereo system, tv, oven cabinets. They basically destroyed it. I expect batteries and maybe propane tanks but this i didnt. Parked in secure storage but apparently they guessed the gate code or were told it. Sherriff was able to pull prints, found boot prints. Security camera has color video of the truck and video of his face as well. Cant wait to deal with insurance on this one

So sorry to hear of this...
This brings up my fav rant.. we have a criminal justtice system but no victim justice system.. When do we victims get justice? If we take justice into our own hands we get delt with my the courts more severly than the real criminals do. Why? Is it because we are taking work away from them and maybe making sure they do not reoffend?

That stinks. They were most likely hoping to find some quadzillas or Harleys in there.

Looks like the work of a bunch of "meth" heads. Most stock RV's don't really have stereos and such worth stealing. The thieves do more damage gaining entry and removing the items than the cost of the items.

Be sure to check Craigslist for the stolen items. If you spot them call the LE agency who took the report to advise. Don't laugh at the suggestion, it happens often!

Thanks all. I have been searching the area craigslist in hopes to catch him. The video shows one guy in a pickup. He hit 4 trailers that night but mine was theconly one he ripped stuff out of. Likely because its only a year old and newer stuff. I do have to hand it to jayco though. He had to destroy my door to get in where the others looked to be a single pry

Maybe they can post the video of his face all over the television news casts. I hate to hear of stuff like this but I second the notion it is probably pot heads looking for a quick buck. I would be real concerned about the "secure" storage. Does not sound very secure to me. My unit sits in my back yard and under video surveillance. They don't want to mess with my stuff. Probably got 4 loaded rifles and shotguns within easy reach!
One guy did, right after I moved here 8 years ago. He is still incarcerated!

yeah mine got broke into on the lot at my work a couple of years back and they tore up my stereo trying to pry it out ... broke my front window out and our bed got soaked all weekend but the thing that pissed me off the most was they had the gaul to take a serious dump in the toilet ... I was really peeved to have to literally clean up their mess... cops didn't even take prints they just said well we probably wouldn't have them in our data base anyway .... I put an alarm on my car hauler now that texts my phone if the door is opened or it is jarred ... got it sitting next to my new trailer ... don't know if I would even bother calling the cops if they set the alarm off I think I will just go pay them a visit myself

I've had stuff stolen out of my garage a few times. The first time was in 79. Still today I would like to take a ball bat to there arms and legs big time. As far as shooting them, well I don't want to spend years in court and big $$$ because little Johnnie "wouldn't do that kind of thing", after all he just got out of jail a few months ago and is in rehab and doing so well, yada - yada. Just make sure you actually feel your life is in danger before pulling the trigger, much as we would like to!!!
