I am looking to buy the 2017 Octane 273. I have a Chevy Silverado 4x4 1500 with a Vortec 5.3L v8. Gear ratio is 3.42.

I was just wondering how things were working out for you. Any issues pulling your trailer? Does it seem to handle well?

Put a little water and about 25 pounds of ice in black tank ,,, go drive around for a while and the cubes of ice sloshing around help in knocking stuff loose to where it will all drain easier .

Grey and Black water storage tank level indicators on the blink also. Even after a good flush of the tank.

We had a few issues with our new T31B. When we would use the shower water would leak out the bottom of the camper. I was able to figure out how to get my arm under the shower and they never hooked up the drain so the water was just running out on the floor. It was hard to get my hand back up under there but I got the drain put back together. The fresh water level sensor doesn't work. When it is completely full it reads full but as soon as you use a few gallons it shows empty. The fuel gauge doesn't work for the generator or the fuel station. The first time I used the deal to flush the black water tank water was spraying everywhere under the sink. Had to tighten up some connections.

So we've had a few issues but overall it's a nice camper. I need to get it in to the dealership to get the gauges fixed but the dealership is 100 miles away and I just haven't had time to screw with it.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 6.7 cummins and 6 speed manual transmission. I do a lot of mountain driving. I love the exhaust brake on the Dodge 6.7 Cummins. I have a Tekonsha brake controller but it you downshift and use the exhaust brake you don't hardly have to touch the brakes.

I have a 2016 seismic 4212 and a 2016 dodge 3500 drw combined vehicle weight 28000. I love the trailer and the truck even at those weights on a 9% grade out in Utah last summer didn't have any issues using the exhaust brake just kept the speed slow and it didn't push the truck.

Hello?

Hello all,
I recently bought a used 2013 Octane ZX T26Y and am now 2500 miles from home in it with the wife and son. Stopped in a local dealer here in Tucson and looks like we will be leaving tomorrow evening with a new 2018 393T! Wife loves the layout and that makes it a winner for me. Will be trading in the Octane since I can't haul 2 home. Anyone have any issues with the newer Talons?
Matt

We have a 2015 Octane 32T. We do lots of boondocking, solar panels, extra water when necessary. We had the same issues with the fuel tank and pump. I guess Jayco forgot to ground the electronics. Took a bit of back and forth with the dealer, but she's good now.

This is what I do!

Hello All,

We received our 2017 T31B last spring. We put about 6,000 miles on it last year, 5,000 miles going from Oklahoma to northern California and back hauling a Honda Goldwing. We also haul a Polaris Ranger 900 xp and Saturn 11' extra wide inflatable boat.
When I was looking for a toyhaulers, the problems I had was finding a door height clearance that my Ranger would fit in (76").

I finally took it in the dealer for warranty work late last year, they needed to replace front cap and some trim that was damaged from the factory and transporting.
I fixed all of the other problems myself.
Overall it has been great and has not let us down.

Have a good one

We have a 2016 Octane 222 which we love other than the slight water leak that happened last weekend coming from our water heater bypass valve. Easy enough fix though.

Put an order in last week for a 2019 octane 222 with lots of options & fiberglass sides. Have no idea how long before it arrives. My first Toy hauler I got tired of tent camping out of my Stingray at The IMSA races this year decided next year will be different.....
Don’t even have a “toy” yet
