Insulation

We will be purchasing a Seismic 4113. Our grandchildren will be staying in the garage. What are the R values for the walls, roof and floor?

That’s a really nice floor plan. Love the elevated kitchen.

I don’t know the answer but I do believe that the insulation is less in the garage than the rest of the coach.

Not sure of exact values either, but expect it to run quite a bit colder in the winter months. We have one vent from the furnace for the garage in our 355w, and next to no air comes out of it. I supplement it with an oil heater set on low. It keeps the garage toasty, but only on shore power.

I do the same as apgambino, but I use a 1500w forced air electric heater.

We have a 2017. It is my belief that all the walls are insulated the same. The floor is 2" block foam. That being said, you do have the two side air vents that are not all that air tight when closed but, can be packed with some insulation when not loaded with toys. Unless they have changed for the 2018 model, there is no heat in the garage unless you had a heat pump instead of an air conditioner installed. A good space heater should keep it warm with the tailgate closed.

Just get a Mr. Heater buddy. Ours is amazing. They are rated for indoor use. We have a 16ft garage and it will blast you out if you turn it up. It doesn't use very much propane either.
