Is this water damage?..Already?!!

Hey campers. I have an 18 T32H Travel Trailer/Toy Hauler. I have had it for about 6 weeks. I noticed this tonight. Is this water damage?

Possibly...or was it there when you bought it and you just didn’t notice it at the time (it’s been known to happen, don’t ask me how I know)? If so, it might not be water damage, just improperly installed. I’d sure investigate it though, just in case.

Hard to say from the picture alone but my guess would be manufacturing defect. Usually water damage has some discoloration

Never noticed it until now. But its possible I missed it. I will go up on the roof to check. I am dreading doing warrent work. Also, lets just say I am "between houses" right now so warrenty down time will be costly.

That doesn't look like water, but more of a substrate issue. Water causes pimples under the vinyl covering. I would still check the roof for damage to be safe.

I checked. I don't see any damage.

If it’s just a blemish I don’t know if I’d worry about it, but that just me. Can’t hurt to check with the dealer, though.

Try pressing on it. If the area feels soft/spoungy that might be a sign of water damage. If it feels solid as you press on it then more likely a cosmetic defect.

Are you some place where it is hot & humid? We noticed some swelling on Sunday and when we asked our service tech, he said it was from the humidity. Our bedroom A/C actually leaked on our bed after we had hooked up the trailer.
