Jayco 273 owners, what size generator do you run?

I have a 2017 273 toy hauler running a harbor freight 4000/3250 and it occasionally "pops the breaker" when running the AC/water pump/TV. It may run for a few hours fine, then will just randomly pop the breaker. This can happen without turning on additional items, just pops the breaker almost randomly.

I can get either 4375/3500 or a 6500/5500.

What do you guys run and does anyone have the same issue? Don't want to get the 4375/3500 and have same problem, but not fond of the size/weight of the 6500/5500 if not necessary.

I’ve git a 272 and use a champion 3400 invertor at high altitude with no issues. FYI I have two air conditioners. 15k and 13.5k. Just only run one at a time. Love the remote start on my champion. Hate small fuel tank.

I run a Honda eu3000is. On my jayco 161. But I am guessing my A/C is the 13.5 btu When I run my gen with the. ECO switch. Off no problems what so ever I can even use my microwave after the A/C is running.. Leaving the ECO switch on and starting. A/C. Makes my A/C and generator very unhappy

Edit. Are you popping the breaker on the generator or on the trailer. If generator. May be a generator problem

I have a Westinghouse Igen 4500. Just under $1k ($949@ Home Depot)and weighs 97lbs has a built in handle and wheels, remote start, and will run everything in my 222 toyhauler. (15k AC & Microwave, coffee maker,) no issues as of yet.
A full tank lasts over 10 hrs and well over 15 in echo mode.
So far so good. I would buy it again. ymmv
