Jayco octane T30f

Well just brought it home and after dealing with rvone in Des Moines I can say I'll never go back there again. Scheduled me out 2 weeks for the demo , then upon arriving light covers were missing , broken fridge outside cover , party deck brackets bent and a few other things . Then dealer installed hitch wrong and couldn't do over 55 till I stopped and readjusted it myself on the side of the highway.. trailer is nice tho lots of room for toys . It's heavy tho so if you think you can pull it with a 1/2 ton you're crazy lol .. any questions or measurements needed feel free to ask !

We picked up our T30F last spring and love it.

Had a few initial small problems but overall it's worked great.
Small problems were-
1. Screw pulled out of hing on cabinets. Just put a tooth pick in screw hole for it to bite into and problem solved.
2. Fuel gauge for generator and toy tank were backwards. Unscrewed gauge from panel and switched connectors.
3. Fresh water tanks siphoned after filling causing water shortage. Plugged the overflow hoses to prevent this while towing.

I second the comment on you can't/shouldn't try to tow this with a 1/2 ton. I pull with a F350 Diesel Single and it does fine but it is a heavy trailer.

I haul a side by side in the back and found that it seems to tow better with the machine backed in vs driven in forward. Thinking the engine weight is more distributed over the RV wheels. I just started doing this so the jury is still out.

I also had anti-sway bars added to the hitch system due to pulling in high wind. They seem to have helped a lot.

Let me know if you need any info.
