Just picked up my toy hauler

Hey guys, I've been here for awhile now I don't post much just sit back read but now I have something to post about

My wife and I have been looking at toy haulers for awhile and just hadn't found the right one. I didn't even know Jayco made toy haulers untill I just happened to see one going down the road. I loved my 29BHS travel trailer so we started looking for a Jayco Recon, We found one an hour away in Austin, TX and it was love at first sight. We picked it up yesterday and spent the night in it. I don't think I can ever go back to a travel trailer.

I always happy with jayco's products, other used units we looked at just didn't seem to age as well. The Jaycos seem to remain looking good and hold up well to continued use and cost less than other compairable models. It is a 2007 Recon F-36V still looks new!

CONGRATS Levand !!!! It seems the "toy-hauler" is gaining steam.

Glad you have something to post about now. We really like pictures too !

I agree about how well the Jayco brand withstands time. Our '02 31FKS Designer TT seems like a new unit. Ive removed some panels and did some "look-sees" and I have been very impressed. We have a few minor issues, but thats part of RVing.

You can also post pics of your TV too !

Be sure to let us know how any future excursions go..... oh yeah, did I mention we like pictures here ?

Hey, good to know there is yet another Texan on the Forum and, oh yeah, congratulations on the toyhauler. Do you have toys to haul, yet? I've seen lots of toyhaulers in the national forest campgrounds in Colorado; the owners bring their ATVs and use the campgrounds as bases for exploring the back country.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Levand. Years ago when we had ATC's, I wished we had a toy hauler. Someone was thinking when they created that rv! What toys will you be bringing along, or do you get to buy that next?

No toys in this toy hauler it's all work. I own a business selling antique and classic auto parts, so this trailer will be used to take me and my family to and from swap meets along with a few parts in the back to sell. I had been loading up the back of the truck then taking my travel trailer but my back is not as great as it once was so loading and unloading a 1 ton 4x4 is becomeing more and more painful. The ramp on the back is great and this thing pulls so much better than my travel trailer did.

We were camping down at the beach this last summer and there was this big ol 5er there-- part of a big group. One night they had the kids out going around to the campsites asking people if they wanted to come watch a movie at their site. Sounds cool right? They were charging though. 5 bucks to watch a bootlegged copy of "Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief" on a projector and a sheet hanging over the side of the 5er. It was freaking loud too-- didn't last long though-- the Rangers ejected them for some reason.

We looked at toy haulers a little before we got our latest 5'er. I hated all of em! Then I saw the Recon! They are really nice haulers! Congrats on your new addition! Jaycos rock!
