Kitchen Counter Extension

I have a 2019 Octane Super Lite 273 and need to add more space at the kitchen counter to the lft of the stove. I was thinking about either a table or installing a drop leaf shelf either on the wall or mounted to the end of the counter.
Was wondering has anyone else made this modification and if so what did you use?
Thanks,

I went to Lowe’s and purchased a 2’x4’ butcher block ( it’s not oak BTW ) and two folding brackets off eBay and did a cabinet mount. I added a piece of plywood on the inside of the cabinet ( glued in place) for added support. We can still get in & out when it’s in the upright position.
