More Siesmic 4113 issues
Has anyone weighed in their 4113? I did yesterday and am shocked.
19,220 with 1-1/2 or propane, 1/2 genny tank, no water (no even lines or tanks), 2 kayaks, some clothes, dishes, board games, cleaning chemicals, camper chairs, towels, a foam mattress, small tool box, live jackets and some misc in the basement. That’s it.
Total trailer weight 19,220#
Pin weight 4520#
Front axle 5580#
Mid 5020#
Rear 4100#
That leaves 780# capacity with an overloaded front axle.
The camper sits level but if I raise the front to transfer lid I don’t think it will make a difference so the tires are overloaded.
Also there is not enough suspension travel. It already rubs the back where it has taken the water barrier off the bottom where the metal plate isn’t enough. I’ve also found damage where the axle tube has bottomed out. Worse on one side than the other.
That’s just the worse thing I found yesterday. The second worst is that the under belly is not just open where RV One cut open the underbelly but the entire rear from the factory is open. Please let me know if yours is the same way!

Here are the weights I got. In addition to what is listed, the coach was packed to travel, food, clothing tool boxes, folding chairs, 5 gal of DEF, cribbing for landing gear, leveling blocks, etc. I was not able to get individual axle weights.
As you can see, not a lot excess capacity. There were only a couple of things we did not use and will be jettisoning those items on the next trip so that we can add a couple of other items.

Looking at your axle weights, unless you missed typed, your front axle is not overloaded. The 4113 comes with three 7000 lb axles. So in theory, the axles should be able to carry 21,000 lb total but, the trailer is only rated for 20,000 lb. So, if you don't overweight the trailer, it should be difficult to overload the axles front to back since the pin is carrying 4500 lb. Not saying it is impossible but, difficult. Side to side may be a different story.
As for the rear being open, yes, mine is open under the garage. You have your fuel tanks and spare tire located there.

I was thinking the tires were rated for less do to the pressure, but it appears I was mistaken. Need to recheck when I get home. I'm used to having 110 psi tires with HP rims.
My issue is more overall, only having 800# remaining when I have very little in the camper. I couldn't fill the entire water tank (1100#). I'm only 1/4 full of fuel. Supposedly it should be 16800 with propane and fuel full. That's what it said it left the factory as. There is no way I have 2600lbs of stuff in there taking into account the fuel. We bought this to have a side by side in the back. That will never happen evidently
Suspension travel is an issue as well.

Do you have the 3rd a/c, 3-seasons doors and rear deck option? These were all factory installed so should be in the delivered weight. That's what I don't get. I'm going to have to pull everything out and go weigh it again.

Yes, I have those options plus the outdoor kitchen. It is my intention to remove the outdoor kitchen as we have not really used it. My guess is that will save me about 100# or so. I will have to weigh it when I remove it.

I just looked at the specs on the 2019 models and they have raised the gross vehicle weights from 20,000 to 20,695. I wonder how?

I never weighed my 4212 for the very reason you did, I dont want to know.........of course I am way overlaoded. There is now way I am any where near 20K rolling down the road. We travel with fuel tanks full and water full most of the time. We boondock! if any thinks that she is going to remove the stackable W/D and all her clothes, the 1600# UTV the pantry, a resditential fridge etc etc then you live with her................ Yes I have had tire and suspension issues, solutions have been made. Jayco again has design flaws everywhere, a good toyhauler should have had 8000# axles and should have disc brakes standard not options.
