New to the forum. Have been a slide-in pop-up truck camper, or tent camper for years. Just picked up a 2018 Octaine T30F that is in almost new condition and basically fully loaded. Been reading the post and have learned quite a bit already (like the overflow siphoning out the water while driving). You have LOTS of good info here!! I do have a few questions though. This unit has the 16'' tires and I noticed that there is only about an inch of clearance between the tires, is this normal? Tires, I believe, are the original from the factory & are at about 1/2 life. I saw a short post on this from what I think was a sales person asking same question, but no confirmations or other data on it. Next question would be if putting shocks on the axles would be worth while? Plan is to also use hunting, so dirt roads will be in the travel mix. Unit came back-up camera "prepped" (one on top rear and one inside to monitor cargo area). Is all I need to do is pick up a wireless camera/s and bolt on as pwr is at the locations already? I was looking at this < https://www.tadibrothers.com/product...backup-cameras > with making one of them a license plate camera to see when hooking up.

I'm no help on your questions, but welcome to the Forum from New York State, and congratulations on the Octane!
