Octane 161 sewer hose storage

Where do you store your sewer hose and hoses? No under belly storage. Just picked our camper up yesterday. Hauling two dirt bikes.

We just purchased a Seismic 4116 and we are in the same boat on poop creak with out a paddle! Why and or what was Jayco thinking not installing storage for such an important piece of equipment such as a stinky slinky and associated parts!
My toyhauler cost a mountain of money. Why should I have to layout more money to fix their oversight. It's not like there's no room for the necessary hardware.
I am at a loss thinking that this safety, and health issue is Jayco's problem, not mine.
Camping World does sell a universal tube for the slinky. I think that Jayco should foot the bill on this. CW estimate is $150.00 to $250.00 to fix this oversight. And if I'll leave it with thim thay should be able to fit it in in the next couple of weeks.

We have a 16' garage that hauls our Jeep rock crawler, Harleys, quads, Dunebuggy, or Ford Escape, depending on where we are going. Can't have to manny toys, in the end he with toys wins.
Enjoy!!!

My 161 storage hole is left side just below the outside shower. But that one is inadequate. So i made one out of 8. Inch PVC. That is strapped to the tongue under trailer

My fresh water hose. I toss it in with my fuels station hose but put it on top of it in the cage

My last TH had a similar layout to your camper so I feel your need for storage. My W&P 18LT had a heavy duty rubber maid chest mounted behind the propane tanks. It was sturdy enough to stand on and lockable. I made a couple of plywood stacked shelves that a section of hose with fittings would fit in. The rest of the space got taken up by hitch components and tire changing tools. I had enough tongue length that the battery sat between the tanks and box. Some of the new aluminum angled tongue boxes looks pretty spiffy too! https://www.ruralking.com/better-bui...r-tongue-boxes

I mounted one of those collapsible sewer hose storage tubes under the tray area.

I just used some 5" pvc fence post and bungeed it behind the tongue storage tray. cost about $18 all in for the post, some good bungees and some bolts and wing nuts to keep through the ends of the post. I like that the hose can air out.
