Oh man thank you so much. I finally got them to lay down today LOL. I did a mod to my led strip light at the plug. Cause mine were getting damaged. I put a adel type clamp to take the stress off of the plug before it breaks Hey. I wonder if the moderators would mind if you changed this thread to all encompassing. 161. Thread. ?

What LED strip are you talking about? Do you have one under the couches or bed?

Under couches. One on each couch. With long curled extension cords that go up and down with the couches. But a couple of weeks ago I removed one side off of right side couch. and installed it under the bed so I can have light when couches are down

Interesting. I do not have those. Do they only work when you are plugged in?

Interesting as well, My 2018 161SL does not have those led strips. Its a bit dark under the bunk at night. We have some other lighting that works out okay.

On my trailer there is a switch on the wall next to couches the. LED lights are 12. Volt. The switch is about center of where you built the shelves

Where did you get the framing diagram? I would love to have that for the entire trailer.

Awesome looking shelves and wardrobe. You both did great.

Email Jayco with your VIN number asking for the framing diagram and they will send it to you.

Are you asking me? It’s a Pit-Bull TRS system. They are pretty common for track bikes.

They are a great little trailer. So the entire cabinet is built out of 1x12 clear pine. This allowed the cabinet to sit directly on top of the wheel well and not block floor space (also 1x12 is available at most lumber yards and anything bigger is special order). The height of the trailers might vary but for mine I went 88.5" on the front and 84" on the back. The difference is due to the front leg going in front of the wheel well and the back leg sitting on top of it. I wanted it as wide as possible so I measured from the door to the front of the lights on the wall. I was able to go 35" wide to the outside of the boards, leaving roughly 34.5 on the inside. The lower right area will be used to hang coats and such. For this area I went 38" high and 19 3/4" wide. On the top and bottom of this area I added a 1x4 at the front and back to add the rod for the coats. I will be adding a door to cover this area. The little shelves on the left can be placed at whatever height works for your storage. The first two shelves that span the width of the cabinet will be used for clothes and will have doors covering them. The first shelve is 12" high and the second one is 16" high. The top area will have a net over it for open storage. I also added 1x2 at the back of all the long shelves, at the top (keep this down about 3/4 to an inch to account for the molding), and at the bottom so that I could secure it to the studs in the trailer. I also notched the top of the boards to go around the molding at the roof line.

When I added the 1x2 at the bottom of the shelf I notched the divider between the coats and open shelves to help keep that board straight. I then screwed the 1x2 into the divider. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. But if you have any other questions I would be happy to try and answer them.

I tried to dimension the picture the best I could to help as well. I have also attached the framing diagram to show where the studs are.
