Octane 222 HappiJack mod's

Since it's only me, my dog and my toys, I decided to make some changes.

I took out the folding couch/lower bunk. I then removed the upper bunk inside track "stops" so the upper could come down much lower. It will be nice being able to hop into it like a regular bed instead of using a ladder/step stool.

The added benefit is with the couches removed, I get better access width wise for the toys and can get around the sides of them much easier now.

What are you using for seating when the bed is up? Have you done any other interior mods. I’m sure your dog isn’t as concerned with creature comforts as a wife might be.LOL

Hay Fellow IMSA fan I drag my 222 to many races just got back from Road Atlanta.Nice mod ,for me I like the couch for sitting. My cart fits good with it folded to the side ,although it’s very uneven as a bed. I prefer the front bed for me. Guests get the lumpy sofa and the bunk ,which is an OK bed.

I have a separate lazy boy recliner, plus theres still the fold down seat beside the door. And it's only me and my dog

I would like to do that to my 273 but the rails only come down about 3/4 what yours does. And maybe install a privacy curtain to separate the guests. Like those party "mood" lights!

I also removed/sold the couches in the first week of ownership. They were super uncomfortable, either as couches or a bed, and heavy.
