Ramp door assist

Hello everyone,

I just bought my 2020 Seismic 3512 and one thing I was slightly disappointed in is just how heavy the ramp door was. Way more than I expected and I will mostly be traveling alone. I know Morryde has the Zero-G door but you can’t get it aftermarket. Has anyone added heavy duty gas struts or any other system to help with the weight of the door? Do any dealers or service centers install the Zero-G door? I know I have seen the system on a few Jayco models but the Morryde site does not have Jayco as a partner brand.

I have a 2020 Talon and the door is heavier than I expected as well. I have read the party deck railing adds to the weight. I have also heard of guys adding an additional torsion spring. Mine has a spot for one more. I am a big guy and so far no biggy so I haven't gone there. Wife cannot lift it however...

I know it would be a bit of a ride, but MorRyde use to do installs at their factory so you might want to inquire there if you're into a road trip.

Thanks for the tip. I will have to see where their factory is located. I’m going traveling next year so I might be around it!

I added a extra spring to my door and it made it fairly easy yo lift, I also added one to the side patio.
