Roof leak and roof deteroriation in 1 area - how to repair

I was getting my Jayco T26Y toy hauler ready for a trip and saw a couple of ripples on the side right below the roof, spaced about 2 ft apart. I went up on the roof, the membrane looks okay (the TH is about 7 years old so roof leakage was unexpected) but as I felt the roof right above the 2 ripples the roof underneath the membrane felt deteriorated. Crumbling would the way I'd describe it - for I'd say a 14" x 6" section right at the edge of the roof. I'm guessing water is leaking the area, in the seam since the membrane looks intact. Here is a picture of the side of the area, nothing really to take a picture of on the roof as it looks okay and I would only know the roof has an issue if I push down on the area.

The roof membrane runs up to and under the "rain gutter" that runs along the edge. Is it safe to say that I'd have to remove the rain gutter and lift up the membrane to effect a repair on this area? I suspect the roof is not straight wood as it doesn't feel like it under the membrane.

Is this a repair I could do (I am very handy and work on cars and motorcycles all the time)? Or is it better to have some of the mobile RV roof repair sites I see online to come out and fix it?

Are you aware that you should inspect the roof on your RV once a year, twice is better?
So, now you have rotten plywood in your roof and in your wall. Being handy, you may be able to do some repairs yourself.
I would suggest that you watch some YouTube videos at AZExpert channel. He has numerous roof inspection and repair videos. Then you can make a decision as to how much work you want to tackle.

I have inspected the roof every year, I'm not sure if I would have caught this in time. I saw no signs of tears or holes in the membrane and even in the area I'm looking at the roof membrane looks intact. I suspect there is a leak underneath the roof gutter that sits over the membrane. The side of the trailer did not show this last year so it was something that happened between last summer and this summer.

If it's straightforward to pull back the membrane, section out that part of the roof, and put the membrane back and seal it, then in all likelihood I can do it. That's why I'm posting the question, to see if anyone has any experience with Jayco roofs and getting underneath the membrane.

In reply to my own thread as no one seemed to have any helpful advice I went ahead and sectioned out the roof, including opening up the roofing membrane, cutting out the delaminated OSB, replacing it with plywood (including strategically placed structural reinforcement), and put it all back together. Right now my laptop was just sent back to Apple for a hardware issue, once I get it back I'll probably put together a tutorial on what I did, either written or video, or both as I took a fair amount of videos with my GoPro...but I'll need my MacBook back from Apple to do the video editing.

Yes, please post a video when you can!
I'm sure it's something we'll all need to see.
Thanks
