Seismic 4113 dryer vent

Hello all!

I purchased a 2020 4113 and it came with a washer and dryer.

The dryer is vented into the garage area and not into a “wall” vent as I would expect.

Before I remove the dryer to do my own inspection, does anyone out there know if the 4113 has a spot pre-fitted for a vent or is it common to vent it into the garage?

Thx!

the 4113 is set up for a vent-less, condensating unit, such as a Splendide 7100XC. There arent provisions in the 'normal' location for a vented dryer unit. You would need to modify to run a vent under the floor, or through the bunk space, etc. to have a run for the vent.

Awesome info!

I was not aware of the different types of dryers etc.

I’ll check what brand/model is currently installed.

Thanks again.

I checked and have a Splendide TVM63X vented dryer.

How concerned about this should I be?

well, def not ideal, as all the moisture from the drying process will be dumped into the trailer vs vented outside. You really need to either change to a vent-less unit, or come up with a viable solution for the vent. Given the location in the 4113, likely looking at a hole through the floor and a run to the lower side skirting for the vent outlet.

Otherwise, need to keep the windows open while running the dryer to keep the humidity in the unit under control, etc. Really depends on how often you are going to use it. Once a week, need to solve. 5 times a year, prob not worth messing with. Ultimately up to you.
