My 4212 slide damn near fell out! (I doubt it can) but I had to push it in with a skid steer to finally get on my way home! No one could help me out with it either! Horrible experience! Now my busy time to use the camper and I can't even use it! And to top it all off the parts are back ordered and who knows when it will get fixed! I'm not a happy camper anymore! Last year I had an issue with the main breaker box which almost burnt the trailer down with my dogs inside of it! Jayco needs to step up their game or something because when you buy a $115000 camper and can never use it cause it's always broke!

Don't even allow them to replace the motors with 300:1 motors. Demand 500:1 replacements. It solved our problem with our 4212. Jayco knows they have severe issues with slides and Lippert junk leveling system. Replacing with the same junk just prolongs the agony.

We have a fiver not a toy hauler. But what we have read numerous times on the forum. The front jack pins shear off on the Jayco triple axle toy hauler. And the camper come crashing down.

Yes the RV manufactures are at fault for the poor quality and this is true through the high demand. But the consumer is also at fault because they are buying them (must have) and sign for them and take them of the dealers lot. Hello there is lots of information on the web to inform you before you buy. Let them sit at the dealers yard and wait another year. When they are not moving from the dealers lot this industry has to smarten up.
At present they can't find skilled labor for RV manufacturing, it seems that will tell a story. Remember the Mobile Home industry went through the same issues.
If a parent keep laughing when a kid does something wrong, who's the blame the parent. So keep yourself from buying NEW RV's till the RV industry smartens up, and deliver quality units for the price you pay for them. There are used RV's what have all their misery fixed already.........buy them, you save yourself some $.

Seismic 4212

Hey Bravo on the u tube video, if more of this garbage Jayco makes went public. It would bound to have a negative effect on the company.Just a heads up I have seen several threads on the front jack pins shearing on the 4212s!We bought a 16 Eagle new dealer did the same switch on campers for us.It just so happens we like the colors better and took it.Bad decision literally 24 months of warranty. In 25 month now waiting to finish up warranty.Get ready to jump through some hoops on your suspension.Jayco will wash there hands of that. You will have to deal directly with Lippert .Smart move taking your camper in for a second professional opinion. If you have documentation that will help.I will attached Lippert instructions for axle replacement we have two on our Eagle. Also attached is there flat rate chart axles ect. Best of luck this is a where down game!Keep us posted. Thanks

Update, I stated that the High torque replacements (500:1) motors H frame bearing blocks etc solved our problem with the big slide in our 4212. Wrong failed again and ruined a trip. Now extended warranty for replacement again with $2500 warranty payment and $600 out of pocket. Thanks Jayco

Update on slide issue. Been in shop since Feb 4, 2019. still no parts and no help from Lippert or Jayco? Note the string line, some of the rollers weren't even touching bottom of slide. Weight distribution is critical for those little motors. It was putting more strain on the refer end of slide thus causing miss alignment. The solution is to shim up the rollers that aren't touching the bottom of slide, when they upgraded in 2016 they added 3 more rollers.

Both axel shackles broke, both middle jacks broke, mother board for gas heater replaced. Rear ramp door warped and replaced, tire touching the underside of camper, it ruined six tires. Whole system upgraded by Lippert. Battery disconnect installed incorrectly from factory, it ruined 4 batteries. Fuel pump will not turned on, not fixed yet. main awning leaking from the top, replaced. Both shades, bedroom and living room fell. Living room shade could not be replaced, we now have curtains. Refrigerator door will not stay close. We rigged a bungee rope and some hooks. Air conditioning condensation in bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom door will come loose during transit. We rigged it close. One tire came completely separated from coach and struck another vehicle. All bolts broke. Hope that helped some.

Anyone have current updates on their Seismic issues. ? Mine is a 2016 4211. I have have had issues since days one. But since warranty has expired...

my doors have started to warp inward
Patio is warped.
Floor boards under vinyl seem to be separating or pulling apart as I have a thin gap the whole width of the RV.
Soft spots on flooring as well
Large awning sagging

And my biggest issue is my roof. It leaked in 2017. It was "repaired" but the dealership did an awful job. Had to take it back 3 times. Unfortunately the roof will never be the same. It now feels soft and weak and water does not drain off the roof like it should. Rainwater pours over the side right onto the patio causing it to get worse.

Jayco won't reply other than to say... Sorry to hear about your issues. However, You are out of warranty.
