Seismic Battery charging relay issue

I have a Jayco Seismic toy hauler.

Over the last 2 years I have had to replace the 50 AMP relay occasionally that connects the charging converter to the battery. It would go out and I would notice my batteries weren’t charging. Recently it happened again and I put another 50 amp relay in but now it clicks off and on every 20 seconds. It will start charging 13.5 volts and when it hits 13.6 it resets. When the battery is disconnected from the relay it stays constant and doesn’t reset the relay but as soon as I hook the battery back up 20 seconds later it resets and stops charging the battery.

Any insight is appreciated.

First thing I would do is get my batteries tested. You could also have a bad relay, even if it's new.

I agree with Monty. You could have a bad battery too.
Have you tried with only 1 battery hooked up to see if it does the same thing?
I would also suggest you check the main wires coming into and out of the relay box as mine were loose. A loose connection will heat up and then could cause your relay to drop out.

We have a 2017 Seismic 4212. The dealer send a mobile tech who told me the battery cut off switch had been installed incorrectly from factory. He replaced it 18 months ago and is still working properly

The 50 amp relay is large enough, Jayco had ours replaced soon after delivery due to failure. They replaced with a manual resetting 80 amp relay. This was approved and paid for by Jayco.
