Shaking

Hi everyone.

We just bought our first toy hauler, the Seismic 4113. We have a LONG list of defects that we’re hoping our dealer will resolve, but there’s one issue that’s driving me crazy. When parked our trailer moves around a lot. When our son who sleeps in the bed at the back rolls over, the whole trailer shakes around, we feel like we’re going to bounce out of our bed at the front. Same when our dog gets up in the night to stretch or get a drink. Our trailer has tri-axels and 6 point hydraulic levelling. We have had big 5th wheels before and never had this much movement. I even purchased a tripod for the king pin, it makes a bit of difference, but not much.

Anyone found a solution to this?

we also have a 4113 and experienced the same issues, although ours has the electric legs. Two things combined essentially resolved the issue -

1 - Anderson jack blocks- legs dont have to extend as much, so less sway - https://andersenhitches.com/Blog/201...er-jack-blocks

2 - The Rock stabilizer - https://www.therockrvstabilizer.com/

These two things used together result in almost no perceptible movement. Little movement even from the washing machine.

Resolved!

After some trial and error we managed to find a bit of a solution. We tried a King Pin tripod at the front and some Camco Wheel Stops. This helped greatly if anyone is suffering with the same issue.
