Talon Generator Started on its Own

The strangest thing. Took the Talon home today to dewinterize it and get it ready for its move to Colorado. The generator started right up and I ran it for a good hour plus while doing other things.

I had it shut down for a couple hours before bringing it back to storage. When we left the house, the generator was off. When we got to the yard (6 miles away), the generator was running.

Now, we did have the hour meter-start\stop switch replaced over the winter as it was not logging the time running. Maybe it’s a short in the new switch? Very odd.....

That very odd. I would have to think the same as u, short in the switch. That's the only link between batteries and starter....
I would pull apart myself and make sure it's all plugged in all the way. Not much to a switch.
