Toy hauler rear door

Any suggestions on a spring assist upgrade to the rear door. I have a 2017 Jayco Seismic. Door is getting heavy to close. I swear it’s gaining lbs or I’m adding age.

Is there a coil spring wrapped around a shaft on the inside at the top of the doorway? If so, I'm betting it's anchor has slipped, and you need to re-tension the spring.

On bigger doors, there might be one for each side and may have separate anchors.

I have a 2015 Seismic and have same issue. One issue water infiltration in to the inside of ramp. Made the ramp very heavy and water wept out of the drain holes. I added another spring ( I had room for another) didn't help.

I applied roll on bedliner to mine to prevent water getting in.

Still too heavy, next I am going to change out all the springs.
