The 2018 Octane 272 has a "published" UVW of 6,990lbs, but the "as-shipped" UVW comes in around 7,500lbs (yellow sticker). GVWR of 10,500lbs.
l loaded Octane 272: (7,500lbs UVW) + (1,000lbs toys) + (700lbs cargo, no fluids) = 9,200lbs gross weight (no fluids).
Recommended "loaded" tongue weight range of 13% to 15% of 9,200lbs = 1,196lbs to 1,380lbs.
The Reese Strait-Line WDH (with integrated sway control) you referenced is rated at 1,200lbs maximum
loaded tongue weight.
It all depends on your loading habits......, the 1,200b rated WDH will work but within a specific loaded tongue weight range. I would tend to lean toward a higher rated WDH w/integrated sway control (Reese Strait Line, Equal-i-zer, etc.).
Worst case scenario @ 10,500lbs GVWR: 1,365lbs (13%) to 1,575lbs (15%) loaded tongue weight range.
