2015 Jayco 31ul Door Handle Replacement

Looking to replace my 2015 Jayco 31ul door handle assembly. The kids have taken to it and it broke.

Contacted Jayco and the dealer looking at $221 but wanted to see of there are other options.

The dealer also asked if it’s the long pin or short pin version. Not really sure how to tell which one I have.

It looks like a Bauer lock. Try contacting them, or whoever made it.

Mine didn’t break on our 2019 but we swapped out the factory one for a keyless style from rvlock.com. We absolutely love it.

We also got a keyless lock from RVlock.com. Very happy with it.

For those who swapped in the RV lock, what was your original lock. I have the keyless entry lock that came on our 2018.5 31 UL that I am not thrilled with but I am also not looking for a job that is going to be a nightmare.

Our 2020 31UL came with the classic key lock that everyone has the same key too. Nothing was wrong with it, just wanted better security and keyless.

The only (small) complaint which is more of a whine, is that there is no zero or nine on the RVLock. We realized all our standard pass codes contain a zero or nine. Finally settled on using our neighbor's address, LOL.

Mine had the factory keyed style handle assembly and the swap was really easy, took about 15 minutes from start to finish.

315Precept,

Our original lock looks just like the one someone else posted up above. Our take on that lock is that every other camper has the same key. We wanted more security than that, so we switched out to the RVLock and have been very happy with it.

Thank you all for chiming in. I was able to locate the actual part number. It's a Bauer BP-12RV. But now I'm going to look at the RVLock.Com model.
